Manly Meditations: The Outdoors

It’s great to be able to memorize God’s Word and meditate on it.  Below, I’ve listed some popular Bible verses for nature lovers, outdoorsmen and sportsmen (okay-the outdoor ladies too).  Carry these verses with you next time you visit the wild places or your back patio.  Enjoy, and by all means, add your favorite outdoor verse in the comments field.

¹ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. ² Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.                                                                                                                 Genesis 1:1-2

²⁶ Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”                                   Genesis 1:26
