Waterfall Walks and Drives

During my visit to Amicalola Falls State Park, I came across this wonderful book, Waterfall Walks and Drives by Mark Morrison.  It’s a wonderful guidebook for discovering well-known and not-so-well-known waterfalls throughout Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.

Morrison provides great directions and trail maps.  Some trails are challenging and some easy; the book will tell you what to expect.  The author offers lots of tips on hiking, safety and even how to photograph waterfalls.  I picked this book up at the park, but it’s also available on Amazon.

If you have some favorite waterfalls we need to checkout, please leave a comment.  Enjoy God’s great outdoors!

Speaking of waterfalls, here is a picture I took of Amicalola a couple of weeks ago.  Watching those falls inspired me to write a poem.
