Green Apps for your iPad

I found a great article over on Mother Nature Network.  The article is called “Five green apps for you iPad” by John Platt.  The five apps that he lists are:

  1. Audubon’s Mobile Guides
  2. iGrowthIt
  3. Netflix
  4. EcoDice
  5. Green Planet 4 Kids

The Audubon’s Mobile Guides sounds like a useful tool for the outdoorsman.  Provided you can carry an iPad securely into the woods or on the trail, just imagine the information there at your fingertips.  And you don’t have to lug around a bunch of heavy books.

How about you?  Do you have an outdoor gadget that makes your life easier or perhaps makes the planet cleaner?
