Canine Companions: Help is a Four-Legged Word

Our dog Trapper

Man’s best friend–the dog.  God has given us this wonderful gift and companion.  For most of my life, I’ve had a dog.  Some were hunting dogs and some just pets.  I’ve always cherished the loyalty and devotion of my tail wagging buddies.  I recently came across an organization which takes dogs abilities and skills to a different level and aspiration.

Canine Companions is a non-profit organization which trains dogs for the disabled.  Founded in 1975, the organization has training centers across the U.S.  Raised from a puppy, each dog receives special training and this brings greater independence for the disabled owner.  Their motto:  Exceptional dogs for exceptional people.

Please take a few moments and listen to the video found at the link below.  My friend, Scott Pollak is the narrator of this clip.  Enjoy!
