An Outdoor Short Story

I recently befriended a fellow blogger, a southern boy from Alabama.  Rusty Cockrell is a wonderful outdoor writer and an avid outdoorsman.  I just had to share one of his stories about nature.  It’s a 3 part story–a short read, but a very good read!

His blog name is Welcome to the Cabin:  Thoughts from the Common Outdoorsman.

Here is Rusty’s introduction to the story:

“This is the story of two deer.  Each born from a different mother and father. From the moment they entered the world, God had planned their destiny. Their path in life much like our own in a way.  A predestined meaning.  Their legacy known to no human.  All we can do is imagine their lives.  Because we know their fates.”
